I loved this book! That gut feeling Monty had from the beginning, knowing that something was off. Grace's struggle to trust not only Monty, but God. Her comment about it being easier to trust God if she just knew what the future holds. And Monty's classic line "but then it wouldn't be trusting God" will always be relevant to our lives. I've read all three books in this series as well as the Mountain Dreams series! Never been disappointed by any of them. Master storyteller!Product details

I enjoyed Monty and Grace 's story. Ranch foreman and female ranchhand made quite a story. I always enjoy when the bad guy gets his punishment in the end. I love reading about characters from previous books in the series.
Where was Edward. Enjoyed the book but kept waiting for Edward to show up. If you write a series I would think all players would be involved in all the books. It would have been a 5 star if Edward was evolved.
This was another great story by Misty I read the three books in order within a week This was had me curious who the star of the novel would be-and was glad it was Monty. always good characters, great story, always a few surprises and christian based-one of my favorite authors
4.5 stars, actually. This story grabbed my interest in the beginning and held it throughout the book. There were enough twists and turns to keep the reader guessing. Violence content is neither shocking nor graphic...just the right amount to tell the story well. Same with sexual content; its a little more than 'none', but not much more...gentle readers shouldn't be offended.
As a Tomboy most of my life, it was such a dear relationship between Monty and Grace. Though a powerful women like Annie Oakley, Monty saw what a wonderful women she was. Misty, brings you straight into a story of pain and sorrow, to a tale of God's love between a man and woman. I look forward to reading more of her books.
Let me just say Misty M. Beller is an excellent writer. She has a great talent to quickly connect her readers to the characters. The Rancher Takes a Cowgirl tells the story of Monty Dominguez, the ranch foreman on the Double Rocking B Ranch. I was excited to read this book because he was introduced in the first two books of this series. Monty is thrown into a complicated situation when Anna (from book 1) hires a female cowhand, Grace Harper. Little does Monty know how much his life is about to change. Trust me when I say book 3 does not disappoint!
Like another review I read, I also kept waiting for Edward and Alejandra to come by sometime or another. Then the ending left me with too many questions, and the author did not wrap this story up well at all. What happened with the diamond, her inheritance, her lawless brother in law, did she get her father's ranch after all or what? Grace is being pursued, her pursuer is caught, then she marries Monty and it's over. Very unsatisfying end to the story. She needed another chapter in there. And I felt like they didn't really know each other and were zip bang getting married. It was a little too crazy and fast.
